Livia Firth Wears Prophetik To Golden Globes!

Last weekend Livia Firth wore one of Jeff's gowns to the Golden Globes! Jeff is the designer of Prophetik, the organic and sustainable line I have been working for, doing sales + merchandising. This particular gown is made of a silk fabric called Tussah silk (aka Peace Silk) and dyed in an all natural indigo. The dye bath is shown in the bottom photo... Jeff actually grows his own Indigo plan...pretty incredible.

Livia is a gorgeous woman and you can follow her blog, The Green Carpet Challenge, on Vogue.com. I must say, I am pretty excited about where Jeff's next collection is going to take all of us. I feel honored to work for such a talented designer and be a part of the team.

prophetik mini-documentary.

Prophetik from Joshua Stutzman.

So here's the reason I haven't been blogging for a few days. I spent the last four days working for Jeff Garner, designer of the line Prophetik, in LA. It was overall a great weekend + I met a ton of amazing people. So excited to be a part of this mission. Here's the video about himself and the line. He's an incredible visionary with a passion to change the way fashion is designed + made. His clothes are beautiful + inspiring because Jeff is a true artist, and all of his designs come from a place of originality. Inspired by his dreams, the country side of Tenessee, and the old world London towne; Jeff's designs take you back to the day when romance was alive and well, while still holding their own in today's society. I love it + hope you do too.

fashion {Prophetik}

So I've recently started working for Jeff Garner, designer of the sustainable fashion line Prophetik. I am so excited to be working for a line that is not only beautiful, but ethically responsible. Jeff has a passion for creating garments that bring men and women back to romance in a time where everything has been sexualized. He is paving the way for ethical fashion; called by God to introduce the fashion world to a whole new way of thinking and creating. All of his dyes and fabrics are organic, created from plant and earth based dyes, all created by Jeff in his local town of Franklin, Tennessee.

I will be sharing more about this journey, but for now, check out this mini-documentary about Jeff and his mission at Lani Inc.. I hope you'll be inspired by his artistic talent and passion for being a good steward of the environment.
